Of course you really should get a carrying case because you don’t want your GPS to get damaged for no good reason. Never misuse your GPS like throw it into your car seat, glove box, etc. So it’s not something like a fashion thing to use a carrying case, they serve a good function which is to take care of your unit.

Decide if there are GPS accessories that you just can’t live without. There are so many choices available you could be tempted to get them all. When you first purchase something new and shiny, a new “toy”, is when this happens. What do you really want your GPS to be capable of?, this is a question you should ask yourself BEFORE you buy.
